Micro-keratom Hansatom ZCH is a very last generation and high precision instrument which allows performing very thin (90 to 100 microns) and regular corneal flaps.
Its angle of incidence avoids drastically the risk of epithelial erosion (< 1%). It can be used with micro-heads for small eyes or small interpalpebral space.
The model that Doctor Assaf uses allows to perform Lasik on high myopia and astigmatism safely leaving higher amount of stroma after surgery
It’s the most used micro-keratom in the world.
